For the protection of our staff and patients, all of us at Orthopedic Associates are wearing protective masks. It is vital that our facilities remain safe environments to treat the community.
If you have an upcoming visit, we respectfully ask that you wear a mask as well. When used effectively and diligently, masks slow can the rate in which the virus spreads through our community.
Help us keep our facilities safe. We’re all in this together!
We Wear Masks and Ask You to Wear One As Well
Creating a safe environment at Orthopedic Associates is imperative. Please help everyone stay healthy by wearing a mask on your visits to Orthopedic Associates. Even if you are asymptomatic, you could still be a carrier.
To slow the rate of spread, your mask should:
- Be clean
- Fit snugly on the face, covering the nose and mouth
- Include multiple layers of fabric
- Allow for normal breathing
We Are Screening Patients at the Entrance
We will be screening and taking temperatures when you enter the building. This only takes a minute and is crucial in creating a safe environment.
Please do not enter the building if you or any family members have experienced the following symptoms in the past two weeks:
- Fever
- Cough
- Upper respiratory infection, congestion, wheezing, runny nose
- Traveled to high risk areas or outside of the country
Play it safe and reschedule your appointment if there is any chance you have come into contact with the virus.
Changes to our waiting room & visitor policy
We are asking that if you can drive yourself to the office, please do not bring visitors with you.
We understand this may be an inconvenience and we apologize, but we must prioritize the well-being of other patients.
We also respectfully ask that only one adult accompany each child and other family members, such as siblings, stay at home if they are not scheduled for an appointment.
It is always our top priority to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of our office in order to protect the health and safety of our patients; therefore, we have removed magazines and coffee from the waiting room to minimize the spread of germs.
Same day walk in appointments available
With COVID-19 (coronavirus) overwhelming our local urgent care centers and emergency departments, Orthopedic Associates is now offering same day walk in appointments for orthopedic and spine needs such as fractures, sprains, strains and injured joints, back or neck. You are welcome to call ahead or just come on in (no appointments).
If you prefer to wait in your car until your exam, just let us know upon check in. At that time, you may return to your car and we will call you when the doctor is ready to see you.
Thank you for understanding our concern for our families and the community. If you have questions, feel free to call our office at (972) 420-1776.
