Biography
Dr. J. David Evanich is board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery and Orthopedic Sport Medicine. He is fellowship-trained in Adult Joint Reconstruction and Replacement. Dr. Evanich’s areas of expertise include minimally-invasive surgery of the hip and knee, including arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, and partial and total joint replacement.
Since 2001, Dr. Evanich has been providing excellent orthopedic care to our community. He collaborated in forming the hospital’s Advanced Joint Replacement Center (AJRC) and served as its first Director. Through the use of extensive patient & family education, comprehensive multimodal anesthesia, efficient and precise surgery, and proprietary rapid recovery pathways, Dr. Evanich strives to provide the best experience and results possible for each of his patients. He also serves on the Physician Leadership Council of One World Surgery, a nonprofit confronting the global health crisis by partnering with communities, healthcare providers, and leaders in healthcare to deliver surgical services to patients in third world countries.

Dr. Evanich replaced both of my knees last summer 5 weeks apart. The process was so well organized and couldn’t have gone better. Dr. Evanich was great and Kelly, Tammy, Eric, and Brad in PT were very helpful throughout my recovery. I did develop a reaction/infection to the bandage following the second knee surgery and even though it was over the weekend, Dr. Evanich and his staff were on top of it by calling me and making sure I had the prescriptions I needed called in. Dr. Evanich went well beyond the call of duty to get the bandage removed and replaced with a different bandage. Will be having a hip replacement next and have complete confidence in Dr. Evanich and his staff for that.

I had a full knee replacement with Dr. Evanich. The process is amazing, with pre-surgery education, surgery in the morning and home in the afternoon. Follow up physical therapy and check-ins. I was amazingly well cared for and Dr. Evanich has given me my life, and mobility, back.

The 2 times I went, I couldn’t believe how fast I was in and out, with exceptional care. Dr. Evanich was professional, courteous and informative very caring doctor. Staff was all knowing, the whole place seemed to work like clockwork. Would definitely recommend them!
