Dr. Giesler is a long-time resident of the Lewisville area graduating from Lewisville High School in 1979. After completing his residency training, he moved back to Highland Village and has practiced exclusively at Orthopedic Associates since 1992.
In 2005, Dr. Giesler completed a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. He now serves in lay leadership and adult education at First Baptist Church of Flower Mound. His goal is to live life in a way that reflects his commitment to a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.
Dr. Giesler is married and has two adult children. He enjoys frequent tennis matches with his twin brother and learning about contemporary art with his wife who has completed her MFA in Painting and Drawing at the University of North Texas.
Dr. Giesler sees a variety of general orthopedic problems and specializes in care of the disorders of the spine. He emphasizes a conservative approach of treatment utilizing both non-operative and operative methods where indicated. This includes minimally invasive spine surgery, Laminectomy, Discectomy, Fusion, Disc Replacement, Deformity Correction, Kyphoplasty and Spinal Cord Stimulation.
