Looking for an orthopedist can be daunting. You want someone experienced, with outstanding credentials, high success outcomes, and who accepts your insurance. Even more importantly your doctor needs to diagnose and communicate as if they were your friend, not a businessperson.
Our board certified doctors have been practicing medicine for a combined total of 183 years of experience. Each has their own, prestigious internships, fellowships, honors, awards, and affiliations. We encourage you to visit our doctors' biographies to get to know not only their accreditation and accomplishments, but also their life outside of work.
Our physicians work so well with patients in our community because they are part of it. Every Friday night you can find them on the sidelines at high school football games, ready to treat and advise youth athletes. We know that you’re an individual with your own routine, goals, and limitations. The doctors at Orthopedic Associates spend the time it takes to understand each patient and their unique situation holistically so that the best diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation can be provided right here at home.
A specialist will perform an examination and diagnosis so that you can decide how to proceed.

[Dr. Heerwagen] was knowledgeable, professional, but also personal. I felt that he saw me as a person and not just another operation he was performing. He answered my questions in a way that was understandable to a lay person.
[Dr. Giesler] performed back surgery on me when I was in more severe pain than ever in my life. My pain is now gone and I am slowly regaining my strength. I am thankful I was referred to him.
Perfomed a hemilaminectomy (sp?) on me and it went perfect! He absolutely saved me. My daily pain was an 8. Today it is zero! Dr Giesler is an amazing surgeon. Very kind and informative throughout the entire process. Highly recommend Dr. Giesler…
I had a continued pain in my elbow and Dr. Wilkofsky helped the pain in 1 visit. He was very thorough and explained my condition. Thank you
Unbelievably Dr Singhal was a second opinion and I thank my stars he was, the first opinion Dr said nothing could be done. He was supposed to be #2 in the whole of TX. Imagine my surprise and circumspection when Dr Singhal said my problem was common and could be resolved quickly. Boy was he right, it’s been sometime since my surgery and touch wood everything is fine. I feel much better
[Dr. Heerwagen is the] very best doctor in his field.
Marvelous doctor! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Jeff Cantrell. While some doctors are all about making money, he takes the time needed to fix your problem.Way to go Dr. Cantrell!
Dr. Evanich as well as his Assistant and nursing staff were all able to answer any questions that I might have and even answered the “what if” questions that I had. Didn’t necessarily like the fact that I need surgery but am very relaxed in the fact that Dr. Evanich will be doing it. Very friendly office.
I had seen Dr Giesler for a second opinion but witheld that. His diagnosis and treatment were spot on. I am scheduling surgery with Dr Giesler as he was not trying to rush me into surgery.
Our family absolutely LOVES Dr. Singhal and his assistant Warren. They are very knowledgeable, caring, and very good at their jobs. Having 3 sons and a husband involved in sports we can count on him! My husband was injured playing Semi- Pro Football requiring surgery for a Full Bicep Tendon Tear that relocated his muscle needing a cadaver tendon and needed surgery then couple years later another injury on Right knee for torn meniscus. Both surgeries went very well without any issues.
